Why on earth would anyone rob a bank? Or for that matter, many banks? For several years?
Netflix produced an excellent documentary called How to Rob a Bank recently; well worth a watch.
So, with a Netflix documentary under your belt, why would someone want to talk with little old us?
Given the limited time allowed for a show TV documentary, there is MUCH more of the story. In particular, why a treehouse means so much in understanding why all of this happened.
We get to find out those details with an credible interview with one of the Seattle Washington’s “Hollywood Bandit” bank robbery crew members that robbed multiple banks in Seattle in the 90’s, for over 4 years, and the FBI agent that chased the crew the whole time.
Steven Meyers, author of THE TREEHOUSE, planned and participated in several robberies along with his friend, Scott Scurlock, dubbed “Hollywood”. Steven takes us deep behind the scenes an gives an incredible “why”.
Steven is joined by the FBI agent, Shawn Johnson, that lead the investigation all of those years! Talk about getting both sides of the story! Spoiler alert: Steven served his long prison sentence for his crimes, and now he and Shawn are friends. HOLLY COW! A cops and robbers, cat and mouse true crime twist if I have ever seen one.
