Matt Brotherton is a career police officer with the Lexington Police Department in Lexington Kentucky. Matt currently holds the rank of Lieutenant with the Public Integrity Unit (think Internal Affairs or ‘IA’). His experience also includes assignments in patrol, narcotics, a gig as a sergeant in the Crimes Against Children Unit (CACU) and time spent as the lieutenant responsible for the Special Victims Unit.
Matt comes to the Murder Police Podcast based on his 10 years as a homicide investigator with the Lexington Police Department, starting that assignment in 2001.
